BASIC FUNCTION
The primary role of the Sales & Marketing Assistant is to assist sales manager in coordinating and all day-to-day activities with sales and marketing efforts. The incumbent acts under the guidance of the Division Sales Manager and dotted line to Corporate Marketing. The incumbent will be working with projects that directly impact company sales and profitability.
SCOPE
The Sales & Marketing:
- Have outstanding written and oral communication skills;
- Be capable of effective interaction with subcontractors, suppliers, customers, inner company personnel, and other associates of Company;
- Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of Windows operating systems as well as various office software packages (Microsoft Word and Excel) and working proficiency in use of office equipment;
- Demonstrate the ability to manage tight deadlines, promptly address changes without disrupting schedules work with minimal direct supervision;
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
MARKETING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interface with the NHSs with eblasts, events and Bomb Bomb schedules
- Add marketing creative requests to the marketing calendar on Mondays
- Assist with gathering Social Media content to send to Corporate
- Assist with billboard requests/changes/approvals
- Manage site map updates
- Assist with event coordination such as: grand openings, luncheons and other special events
- Assist with ordering and maintenance of community signage
- Assist with planning advertising for print, direct mail, email and broadcast media
- Interface with marketing vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
SALES DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide ongoing support to the VP of Sales and Sales Manager
Assist sales for new community openings
Order signage for new and existing communities (marketing & construction signage)
Assist sales in locating offsite signage and billboard locations
Order marketing swag (Marketing Corporate approved items only)
Request monthly marketing plans from each NHS
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of Microsoft platforms
2 years of traditional marketing and event planning
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Week: Full Time Monday through Friday (weekends if work requires it).
Working hours: 8:30 – 5:00 and as needed by the Marketing department.
Travel: This position may require some travel between subdivisions & outlying Divisions.
Lifting: Minor lifting may be required on a weekly basis (Weight may reach 20 pounds)
Transportation: Dependable transportation required to and from workplace and for traveling to Company Divisions.
